Chancellor Philip Hammond delivered his Autumn Statement yesterday, marking his first major fiscal event.

Some key measures announced include the alignment of employee and employer national insurance thresholds, a rise in the National Living Wage and National Minimum Wage rates and an increase in insurance premium tax.

Additionally, the Chancellor revealed that his first Autumn Statement would also be his last: 2017 will see the final Spring Budget, as from that point on the main Budget will be held in the Autumn.
